Silicone care: what to wash it with
3 min read · Beauty House HQ
Silicone is easy to look after. A little warm water and soap are usually all you need.
Here is the routine for our silicone items.
What to use
Warm water and a little mild soap. A soft sponge or your fingers will do the job.
This suits the Silicone Body Scrubber, 2 Pack and the soft squeeze tubes in the Refillable Travel Bottle Set.
What to skip
Skip harsh scrubbing tools, which can mark the surface. Skip leaving silicone near a heat source.
Follow the care note on each product page.
Drying
Shake off water and let silicone air dry on a rack or a hook. Open the bottle caps so the air gets in.
Store it once it is fully dry.
A quick routine
After each use, rinse. Once a week, wash with warm water and a drop of mild soap. Rinse well and let it dry in the air.
For the travel bottles, take off the caps and wash each part. Use the small funnel to rinse the neck of each bottle. Dry upside down on a rack.
The Makeup Brush Drying Rack is silicone as well, so wipe it clean with a damp cloth. Our care guide gathers the notes for every item in one place, and you can browse travel and brush care for more.
