How to clean a silicone back scrubber
3 min read · Beauty House HQ
A silicone scrubber has a smooth surface, so cleaning it is easy. A short routine after each shower is all it takes.
Here are the steps.
Rinse after every use
Rinse the scrubber under warm running water to wash off soap and bits. Squeeze the nubs with your fingers.
This takes a few seconds. The care note on the Silicone Body Scrubber, 2 Pack says to rinse with warm water and air dry.
Wash it now and then
Every week or so, wash it with warm water and a little dish soap. Rinse well.
The Long Handled Bath Brush can be rinsed the same way after use.
Dry it in the air
Shake off the water and hang it or stand it where air can reach it. A hook helps.
Our care guide has more tips.
A weekly deep rinse
Once a week, fill a small basin with warm water and a drop of dish soap. Let the scrubber soak for a few minutes, then squeeze the nubs and rinse until the water runs clear.
Look between the nubs, where soap can collect. A soft cloth or your fingertip reaches those spots. Give the handle of the brush the same wipe.
Dry everything on a hook or a rack. Our shower and bath helpers collection has more ways to keep tools neat, and the care guide has the basics in one place.
