Makeup brush care between washes
3 min read · Beauty House HQ

Brushes do their job when they are looked after. You do not need to wash them every day.
A short weekly routine keeps them in shape.
Wipe after use
After each use, wipe the bristles on a clean tissue or cloth. This takes a second.
It stops product building up.
Wash weekly
Once a week, swirl the bristles in lukewarm water with a little mild soap. Rinse until the water runs clear.
Reshape the bristles with your fingers.
Dry on a rack
Let brushes dry head down on a towel first, then stand them in a rack. Our Makeup Brush Drying Rack holds several, and the silicone wipes clean.
Let them dry fully before you put them away.
Keeping a routine
Choose one day each week as brush day. Wash the ones you use most, and spot clean the rest.
Keep a clean tissue near your makeup spot, and wipe each brush after use. Store brushes with the bristles up in a clean cup once they are dry.
Set up your rack near a window or a shelf with some air. The Makeup Brush Drying Rack is about 21 cm long and 5 cm wide, so it fits on a small counter. Browse travel and brush care for more, and the Refillable Travel Bottle Set for taking brush soap on a trip.
